A Gift of Hope for us and from us

Christmas is almost a month away, but we all are already waiting for it. Advent is an opportunity to prepare ourselves for the celebration of Christmas, and to accept and experience Christ as the greatest gift. So it is about our Christmas. But it is also an opportunity to prepare our gifts and share them with those in need.
These days of the first week of Advent, we are thinking and talking about Hope. This is a gift of God to everyone, not just to us. Having received it, we are called to share it.

That’s why this Christmas season, our young  School Without Walls leaders throughout Eurasia are preparing to share the hope of Jesus with 80,000 boys and girls in need through our Gift of Hope outreach. Each Gift of Hope box is filled to the brim with love, warm mittens or socks, treats, toys, school supplies, and a children’s Bible or Scripture piece that shares the message of Jesus. Our leaders personally deliver each gift as they proclaim the Good News and develop life-changing friendships with Eurasia’s most needy young ones—orphans, refugees, children with special needs, and unreached children

It is the greatest privilege - together with students and graduates of our School Without Walls to collect and deliver these gifts, passing along with them a piece of your heart. At the beginning of the new year I hope to be in Moldova and Ukraine to lead several training meetings for our leaders, and then work together with them in the forgotten towns and villages among orphans and refugees, among poverty and despair.

We need your prayers and full support! Please pray for my trip and for my family left without me during the trip. And especially pray for the children whom we will serve so that the Hope of God, who is born in us, will settle in their hearts in order to change everything in their lives forever.
